This is definitely one worth picking up if you’re a fan of the category. It teeters on a B+ and is a good representative of how lovely, delicious and interesting Irish Whiskey can be. While it seems to be missing a bit of depth what’s there is heavy and oily and nice. The palate is similar to the aroma but pulls out a bit more depth and comes across a bit richer than the aroma the finish is a nice fade out to it all. The aroma is a lovely combination of sweets and lightly rustic notes. It’s oily and lovely with a generally rich, but not super deep, profile. Powers Three Swallow Irish Whiskey is a solid single pot still whiskey.
